  Really nice pub with outdoor seating. Looks recently refurbished and has a huge bar that seems to have lots of choice for wine and ale. We didn't eat but the menu looked interesting. Well worth a visit if you happen to pass by

  Went for a family celebration. A large gathering of us, but the restaurant was able to cater for us (we had booked in advance, however). The food was well prepared and tasty, and they were willing to adapt to specific needs. Vegetarian options were limited though. The one complaint when a meal was delivered slightly cold was handled by offering a replacement. Overall I would recommend the restaurant.

  Went for the other Half's birthday. Had bar meal. Ordered the meals as per specials board. Nothing mentioned at point of order. Everyone got what they ordered bar the other half. Asked for the order and they brought it out. Wrong order, wrong time. Sent it back and all they offered was chicken with red wine jus (yes white meat with red wine!!) Went there because it seemed like a good halfway meeting point, won't bother again, terrible service. Called prior to writing to this review and offered no apology let alone any solution. DONT GO THERE!!!

  Lovely food, took me a little of guard how great my club sandwich was. Beautiful building too. A hidden gem.
